How does my bike rack work?
I have not tried to use it yet, as I am unsure how to best secure a bike to it…. Note that there are two chrome connectors on the tailgate too.
Any help appreciated, thanks

Re: How does my bike rack work?
as above - you need arms.
But you also need the straps to go through the slots on the tray to hold the bottom of the wheels still
I wouldn;t be surprised if PO hadnt stripped it all off to use it as a cargo bag carrier etc

Re: How does my bike rack work?
The deck will have slits in for straps to hold the wheels , and you can just put a strap round the bikes at handle bar level if you dont have the arms
The two brackets on the side top of the tailgate look like radio antenna mounts to me , if you are not going to use them i may take them off your hands ?
If you look on ebay you should be able to get the bits you need , they fit all sorts of carry bike racks for different vehicles

Thanks for the replies, great help once again!!
Thanks for the heads up on the antenna mounts, I would have never thought of that! I will have to see what the paint is like underneath before deciding though Mocki.

Perhaps this primitive stick, which I assumed was a kosh for dealing with vanphobia, is the old version of the fiamma arms? It was in the box of spares. I don’t think I would secure the bikes on with this . Thanks again, I will source an arm as described. Cheers

Thanks. How times change! How old would this technology be? Cheers
