Oil Pressure Sensor Adaptor
Is this the correct one? NPT 1/8"? Yet the external threaded part looks slightly tapered in the photos?
I have an extention oil pipe to fit in the low oil pressure hole, between the pushrod tubes. Then l need a T-piece for the original pressure sensor and connection of an oil pressure gauge.

Re: Oil Pressure Sensor Adaptor
it depends what you are trying to fit into it and what threads the various bits you are trying to plug in to it are
the engine is tapped parallel M10 fine M10x1.0mm as are our senders and lots of the audi/vw senders, 1/8 NPT taper thread is common with other manufacturers especially US and Japanese but some european too
parallel threads need a sealing washer to effect the seal so threads have to be tapped deep enough for the male part to seat, sometimes the adapters are not drilled and tapped deep enough I have found

Thanks Aidan.
It's for this bit of kit l bought from Brickwerks.

I intend to fit both the original low oil warning pressure sensor and may be attach another VDO pressure sensor for an oil pressure gauge on the dash.
But for now l will blank this last bit off and later use this second port purely to fit an oil pressure test gauge for when l refit the DJ2.1 lm rebuilding.

Re: Oil Pressure Sensor Adaptor
That ebay adaptor has bspt threads (British Standard Pipe) Taper threads. It won't fit anything metric.
Taper threads = pain in rear to tap

Re: Oil Pressure Sensor Adaptor
The VDO sender I have had two connections, one is hooked to my oil gauge and the other is for the pressure switch for my oil light.
Adapter wise I got one of the braided hoses from the low pressure switch up to the top of the engine where my Gauge sits.
Also have a oil temp gauge, which might be a bit redundant with having a pressure gauge, but that is connected on a replacement part for the oil relief bung where a sensor can be fitted.
