It depends on how much machine work is required and how bad the internals are.

Hi mate.same problem.valve burnt out on mine.needs heads takeing off and valves re seating.pain in the back.just about finished her.now this.i live oxford way.if I hear anything I.ll let you know snd if you can let me know if you get any info...hears to an expensive summer.

Aircooled head swap shouldn't be a nightmare ray.

compared to a WBX engine the 2 l Aircooled is like a lego set
