Transport cafes POI for TomTom here ->
1/3rd the way down on the left hand side of this website = http://www.transportcafe.co.uk/index.html )
I have not linked directly to the file as they seem to be very protective of their rights to the files, so don't pass them around or "host" them on here or any other website, just link to them as I have. There is a "how to" text file included to tell you how to load it to your TomTom (so I don't have to )
Suggest you set the "warn me when near" to at least a couple of miles so you don't drive past one that is just a mile or two away. (2 miles is 3520 yards as used on the TomTom
Happy eating (£12.95 for Sausage egg n chips on the motorway service stations )

Ah, right, I think I might have been "moderated" as I am pretty sure I posted this in "General", though in retrospect I suppose I should have put it here in "Camping and Travelling"

Re: Transport cafes POI for TomTom here ->
We were on the way to a steam rally in the lake district last year and I had a wad of cash with me. I said to Gill "sod the expense, let's go daft and grab a meal on the services" However, when we saw the prices, even though we had said "sod it" we could not bring ourselves to pay that much !! I think we had a potnoodle & coffee in the van instead
I wonder if potnoodles are bad for you, neither bad nor good, or actually a good source of carbohydrates at least ?
(E D I T = spelling = where / were
