Been designing some new dial faces as I bought a speedo/rev counter set from german eBay site.
had to change speedo dial over to MPH and thought that whilst at it would put new face design on both speedo & rev counter.
Low resolution images below. Hope you like.

Scanned in the original mph speedo dial on a very high res scanner at work.
Then did same for the speedo dial from Germany with KPH on it. The mph dial did not have a trip meter so using photoshop I transposed bits of the mph dial over the kph one like the mph markings & cutouts for odometer. Then I fiddled with the colours using layers and adjustment masks until I liked it.
The rev counter was another scan and then fiddled about with in photoshop.
Both printed back to silk photopaper and glued on with spray adheshive.
I also love the "plasma" dials you can get on the German eBay site but they are only in KPH and are really difficult to do without some special tools. You can buy El card ( stuff that glows whena current is applied) and print your own design but its the fine cutting out of the bits you want to glow that will look messy if not done right.
Maybe later in year.......
