Sink drains onto ground ?
Hi, i am still learning about my van and testing everything. It seems my sink doesn't drain into a waste tank - is this usual ? It's not what I expected. My van is an E reg T25 high top Autohomes conversion. Clean water tank is under back seat - where should waste be ? Sorry if this is a daft question - it's my first camper. Thanks.

Most are like this. You slide a waist tank under the van.
They can be bought from any camping and caravan shops or online.

Ah ok thanks - I expected something I coul detach - assumed the guy I bought the van from had taken it ( he took a lot - jack, tools, gas bottle hookup and the blown air heating ! )
Thank you for the replies

Brill thanks - should there be a hose ? I've been under and had a look but can't see anything - water seems to be coming from 2 or 3 places - hard to tell

Follow it from the sink drain, it may have been pulled back inside, hence not coming out where you expect.
The drain hose comes from the plug hole and should go through the floor but it may not be directly underneath the sink depending on interior.

Ok now I'll look in the morning with a torch - thanks guys
Re: Sink drains onto ground ?
The waste water pipe on my Komet comes out in a similar position to the above pictures but on the near side.
I use an empty 5ltr de-ionised water container to collect the waste water.

Re: Sink drains onto ground ?
I've bought a container and am tracing the waste pipe - think it just needs pushing through a bit. Thanks everyone

Re: Sink drains onto ground ?
Those crinkly plastic waste pipes go brittle and snap off just under the floor. I used an old washing machine drain hose to replace it.
