I've done a search on this but can't find anything. On my spare wheel carrier I can only do the bolt up finger tight; as soon as you tighten it further the weight of the carrier just pulls it out again. The bolt thread isn't great but is existent, I'm hoping the thread in the chassis isn't completely stripped. Does anywhere sell a direct replacement bolt or do I just need to find one the correct size from somewhere? And if the chassis thread is stripped, will it be possible to re tap it to a larger size?
thanks

I believe it's a M12 fine thread plus a washer (M12 X 1.25 X 35mm) like this: http://www.a2stainless.co.uk/M12-x-1-25 ... _AEJQ.aspx

thanks. I think mine might be a random bolt as it's a lot longer than that and has some bodge of a massive square washer

That doesn't sound right. You should contact Brickwerks, they'll probably have a real one.

Just to confirm this bolt worked perfectly and I now have a nice snug wheel carrier. Many thanks
