One of today's jobs was to clean up the area under the sliding door cover. To get at it fully, I swung the door out of the way and thought I'd inspect the roller too.
I'd like to replace all the rollers ideally, does anyone know how I can remove and then replace the roller from the middle hinge in the picture, and which ones (part numbers) I'd need to replace the others? The van has an 84 door with long handle. Ahh, and one last thing, should there be something attached to the two threaded holes in the picture, as there isn't at the moment.
Cheers in advance, Ross.

Re: Early roller replacement
Thanks for the link, I had seen it from searching the forum previously, however, that's the later hinge which is completely different, the vertical wheel on the early one isnt held in by a nut, its inside the hinge, held in with a pin of some description which I'm guessing you drill out and replace. Re: Early roller replacement
The 2 holes are for the latch to keep the door closing when on a slope. There are early and late latches, I have an early one but has no spring. I also have a new nylon guide block, if you want that I will throw in the early latch. Brickwerks do the early vertical roller - 251843361 .

Re: Early roller replacement
Cheers for the heads up, good news is I have found the stay open latch at the bottom of a very big box, with lots of other door related bits [THUMBS UP SIGN] I left the roller in penetrating oil overnight and gave it a thorough cleaning up, it's much smoother, and spins freely, so it's on the 'to do' as apose to 'really imperative to do to use the van this summer' list! PS I realise the catch is the wrong way round, I got over excited when I found it.
