Cleaning the steering wheel.
Does anyone have any ingenious methods for removing 30 years worth of grime from a standard T25 steering wheel? Mine is quite grubby and just feels horrible , any tips to save on elbow grease or is it just hard work needed?

Not used in a long while but it certainly was a good all purpose cleaner.

As mad as it may seem... I actually use a product called "Elbow grease" !!
It's bright luminous yellow, and available in a trigger bottle from most discount stores... Poundland etc... You can get it online, through Amazon etc.
This is probably the best degreaser that I've ever used... Brilliant for loads of uses, from cleaning engines, to kitchen work surfaces.
Don't pay the Amazon prices, as it really available for £1 per bottle in lots of stores.

Re: Cleaning the steering wheel.
Builders wipes that come in plastic tubs from DIY stores/screwfix, elbow grease not required as they are that good at dissolving the goo without damaging the plastic wheel.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?
