i had one on my first van, its the continental style 12v power socket. you can buy adaptors to go between the socket and the 12v plugs on accesories.

if you put "12v continental" into ebay, you'll see a varietry of adaptors, replacement plugs etc.

An accessory socket more commonly used in Europe that can easily be converted to the much more useful type we use in the UK...fit something like this (will only require slight enlargement of the hole to fit)
