oil pump cover nuts

Post by mbcamper »

To complete my oil pump checking job properly I've been advised to fit the proper nuts to the plate, as I just had normal nuts. I've got a set of these:

So my question is, which way round do these go? Does the red ring go against the plate of the oil pump? It's for a DG 1.9.

Thanks

Mark

Standard nuts and yellow head sealant too because it's normally available at the time of the build.
