Thank You from Spain
Just a quick post to thank you all for your hospitality over the weekend in Germany. Tobias and I had a really good time meeting you all and hopefully look forward to seeing you all again in Northern Spain. I have already started the ball rolling and would like to know an idea of numbers. The best time to come would be around September/October 2011.
If anybody would like to come over before then please feel free to e-mail me on; williamsinspain@hotmail.com and I’ll forward you our brochure and photos. Alternatively you can find us at; http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/Spain/ ... p73009.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I’m also considering a trip to Morocco this Christmas if anyone is interested in joining us.
Thanks again
Robert & Tobias

Oddly enough, we're just looking into this now...
(VERY) Rough plan so far is be in Tarifa by December and then try for a month or so in Morocco. We're not looking to do any "serious" off-roading but possibly travel down the coast to Essaouira? Still very early planning stages but that's why we couldn't make the 25 years meet, we're saving hard for a 12 month trip out from October this year
What a long strange trip it's been

Re: Thank You from Spain
If you're interested, I've done a trip through Morocco & I'd say the coast road would be quite boring. Its sealed all the way & is very busy. I'd recommend going up & over the Atlas mountains to the edge of the Sahara & then cut across west to the coast & up that way.
When we went we had to buy some dodgy/fake/bribe 'insurance' at the border.

Re: Thank You from Spain
If a trip down to Morocco comes off. I may be able to assist with a good place to stopover in the Granada area. The area is very 'rustic' with loads of offroad tracks, and if you wanted a change from crashing out in the van, it dosen't get much different from staying in a cavehouse. Google 'Spanish Cave House'. May be able to organise a bbq and booze. Im not there all year round so keep us informed with dates.

Great to meet you too Rob!
Loving the idea of Spain as you well know, also liking the idea of Morocco. That would be a very interesting change from the usual cold winter christmas!

Thanks for following up on this so quickly Robert, and firming up the offer...
Looks as if quite a few like the idea, and that date sounds about right too
