autosleeper roof struts

Post by Stocky »

The gas struts on my poptop are goosed, and need replacing.
Its a 2 man job raising the roof as one has to physically hold the weight of roof whilst the other drops down the hard sides.
Does anyone know where to source these items or can they be regassed??
Oh i also require tailgate struts, but think these should be easy enough to find.

Cheers in advance Stocky.

We have quite a few Autohomes struts from roofs we have removed and disposed of. If you want some give us a call.

Auto-Sleeper?????

I think that Stocky & Timbertech probably mean Autohomes. Auto-Sleeper made T25 high-tops & solid sided pop-tops where the roof rises & the sides fold out ie.VT20/Trooper. They did not use gas struts at all. :)
