Right then...
....after much deliberation, especially considering £60 a pop
I've decided on 195/70s on the front and 215/65s on the rear, for my replacement 7x15 carat wheels..
thoughts were:
- wanted more rubber on the road to improve roadholding
- wanted to retain original rolling radius, though if there was to be a change it should be slightly larger to help gearing at speed (654/654 front, 661/654 rear)
- wanted to avoid fouling the front suspension even with a 6mm spacer and 50mm stud conversion
- didn't want to go too much larger with 205/70s all round and lose the tyre height to wheel diameter ratio advantage of 15" over 14" rims
can anyone see any problems with this..(camper conversion on -30mm Bluestar springs)
...does it matter that the rear tyres are wider than the front
it'll give a marginal skinny/fat aesthetic I guess, but will camber be an issue on the rear...
or am I being too bloody pedantic
What tyres on 7 x 15 rims?
