Anyone have a picture of this (license plate light wiring)

My license plate lights and wiring were a mess, so I've recently installed replacements and tried to tidy the area up.
I've now managed to get the licence plate lights to light up when running the wires directly into the rear passenger light box ground and grey/black wire.
I'm hoping to retain and use the original connectors here:
Problem is I have no idea what this plugged into, and have not had much luck trying to use it. Could someone please upload any pictures of what this should look like from factory, and how the licence plate light connect to the rear light box?
