Early slider handle question

Post by Ant-t »

My early slider handle seems to be dropping further down from the horizontal to unlock the door. The lock is working fine but the alignment, or lack of it, with the cab door handle is annoying. Is there a way to adjust the mechanism so that the handle sits closer to horizontal to unlock the slider?

You can tighten it (and possibly adjust the horizontal) by peeling back the inner door card - it's held in pace by a screw from behind.

I have the screw at the back tight and there is little play which is ok but I can't see how to adjust the vertical height if this is even possible?

There's an adjuster rod that runs from the handle to the rear catch, take the door panel off to get to it.
