Has anyone fitted the Brickwerks wheel arch liners to their van?

Whats the concensus of opinion? They are low price, easy to fit and on the surface of it, they help protect your arches from all the crud thrown up from the road, with a bit of sound deadening thrown in.

Your thoughts?

Fitted them to mine though not from Brickwerks, had to use extra self tappers but they are excellent, look better than wax oiled arches & easy to clean.

But, and I've not physically seen how these are fitted, if self tappers are being used where water is present, surely that will give future rust issues

I'd say they still need removing every couple of years to check for rust creeping under underseal, they won't stop moisture getting into cracks, a must for people who drive through mud though I'd say.

Thanks guys. If I go for them they'd be going on a Syncro that does get muddy. Removing them and cleaning behind sounds like a good idea. Quality self tappers sound essential.

Stainless self tappers & silicon.

I had several panels replaced back in 2009. The front wheel arches were particularly rotten. So I had the liners put in afterwards. They fitted really snugly, so doing the job they're made for ie keeping all the water and muck away from the bodywork. A few self tappers were used, just in case.

As I said I fitted them to mine, they do just clip into place but I added a couple of self tappers for extra security, you can easily see where to put them once they are fitted.

Sorry to revive an ancient thread - but are there any updates how people are getting on with these? I'd imagine there's a few more out there by now!

They’re back in stock, although I never got around to buying them

They work really well. I fitted self tapping screws in them just to make sure they didn't move. They keep all the muck and water away from vulnerable body parts.

Seconded. Once you have them youll realise it's crazy not to. Self tappers into the shock tower on the rear, and the seat box at the front. Now you'll be like every other car on the road that has wheel arch liners
