replacement stainless exhaust

Please could anyone recommend the best exhaust (stainless) preferred for a 2.1 DJ engine with fuel injection,
I would like it to breath the best it can ,In order to tune it slightly

Ditto. ..vw speedshop all the way!

For me over my tired old standard system, I instantly noticed a massive improvement in low end throttle response.
But generally all in all, it has made a vast improvement right across the entire rev range. ...and it really compliments that WBX burble.

Anyone know on the speedshop exhaust what the gasket next to the lambda sensor boss is from?

sorry cannot help you as I do not have a lambda sensor fitted

Sorry I mean the gasket between the silencer and the joining pipe.
