WOOD BURNERS IN VAN

Post by rusty spokes »

hi all, just as a matter of interest, has anyone fitted or know anyone who has fitted a small wood burning stove in their t25? seems a bonkers idea i suppose as there's not alot of room with all bed and sink units also - but was curious! cheers (apologies if you've already got a post somewhere like this on your forum)

That looks like a bit of a botch job, but on a program on tele recently called 'George Clarkes Amazing small spaces' they had statics/ and mobile homes with high quality wood burning stoves. I think its a brilliant idea if done properly with the right interior.

Image This ones fitted in a ford transit van camper, they sell them on e-bay £45

Surely the picture of Darwin shows things evolve and change?! If its done right, would look brilliant.

Met a man recently with one in his Land Rover...looked awesome but he said the heat was almost unbearable at times. His conversion was amazing - demountable camper unit with 50mm fully insulated walls, floor and ceiling

Lee has a customer who has put a wood burner in his syncro. From memory I think his name is Bruce. Awesome job with lots of shiny copper from what I remember.

Not sure what the wind noise from the flue is like on the motorway though.

Be great if Bruce could put a photo up.

yep that the boy. Looks tremendous in real life. Think it might get very warm in that van though. Even in the middle of winter!
