Front wheel arches

Post by carthago ian »

I'm giving my camper loads of attention , like most of us time rich for once.. Both front wheel arches are rusty in places, I have cleaned them out
& given them a rub down on the rust bubbles only to find the bubble led to tiny holes, towards the lower arch both have rusted .. Is it worth removing
the arches completely putting in new ones .. Whats involved in removing then ?

It’s fairly involved replacing 2 wheel arches verses a coupe of patches in the arches, pop up some pictures of what you have

I have taken on board your comments re fitting new wheel arches .... So I have got the grinder out I can see that there are a couple of holes on the drivers side not too bad , the bottom edge near step has rusted out .. Passenger side , same bottom edge near step .. But around the fuel cap filler has rusted a good bit..
For my life I can't work out how to pop up photos ... Oh well
