That coolant expansion tank looks remarkably like a Triumph GT6 windscreen washer bottle.

Just looked on Rimmer website, the GT6 radiator overflow bottle and windscreen washer bottles are very similar!

they do makeup dont they :?:
well away and got the front alignment done today, it drove back feeling so m uch nicer, took it for a run round and the van feels generally nicer, gearing is spot on now so good one aiden, its just seamless from 1 through 4 with no silly gaps, new charge cooler seems to be working fine, and all temps look good from what little ive driven,
one of the other things that bugged me besides the rear rack was the no plate flap, i kn ow theres no real need to open it on this installation but.................

at least now it does for a nosey...

well it will be back down the warm south by now :D
so i can post picks of the snorkle now that its been seen
SS joiners as per previous page and this is the simplest easiest way to mount it
Image
tapped M6 for SS domed screws
simple as can be, the tube brace to the fiammi bracket does give very good support as well, plus if a branch or other gets near it will stop it hooking up , also handy for a rear led spot same as front.
Image
hardly noticeable
Image
i take on board what others have said ref rubber mounting and i hope this gives an option and the best of both worlds

let us know what the figures were on the return run

Home at last. Traffic was bad on the M25 as usual.

I'm really pleased with the work. All practical and simple. Not sure which is my favourite addition, jack carrier, recovery points, step combo or safe. The safe is bigger than expected and is a safe as a safe can be! There is certainly no simple way of breaking into it!

The gap between 2nd and 3rd gear is now very good. I really noticed the difference when driving in town.

Coolant temp wise it is more stable. I will change the stat as I feel it still not quite right. The twin tank set up is way neater than before.

Charge cooler temps were good. Mostly mid 30's on the motorway sitting at 65mph. The highest was 52C on a pretty long motorway hill.

Plus the annoying squeak from the front when going over bumps has gone! :ok

Both the wife and kids are really happy the van is back. It plays a big part in our lives. A few small jobs to do before we go away to the New Forest at the weekend.

Thank you for the work and for putting up the ever increasing list of stuff that I wanted.
