It’s 2k acrylic so no lacquer as it’s high gloss. highbuild upol primer. Then 2 coats of paint. My 80yr old grandad sprayed it that was his job for nearly treble my life time [THUMBS UP SIGN] the package for the paint was custom made for me and is still a listing on eBay if your interested it contains 7.5l of topcoat mix we used roughly 4.5 but always worth having plenty spare.

I completely agree about original colours I was almost tempted into a slightly more whacky orange. Maybe some metal flake but I like originality in something like this and it’s the colour we wanted a bus in from day one

Fitted 4 out of 5 windows today, the old girl got a oil service, now sounds mint. And started fitting all the little trims and stuff it’s all coming together nicely. More interior work tomorrow and final window. Then can get it mint ready for cornwall. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Also fitted new JK gas struts, hell they are powerful

Yeah, I'm not going to post on this thread anymore, it's just too embarrassing. I haven't so much as waved a grinder at my project in the past 2 months.

Looking forward to seeing the finished job though

Thanks for the responses, haha my next project will be slow progress and steady enjoyment thing is we just want to get out and use this so it’s been a mental push.

Steady day today managed to get all the inserts into the window seals and finish fitting the last of the seals I’ve put 14 hrs into those windows haha

Also done some interior work and a bit of wiring that’s hidden

Should be in a position to get interior in tomorrow and plug and play.. hopefully

Also fitted an empi exhaust. Sounds good looks ok. Bit of a shoddy fit with the bumper though..
