Oops its been a while since I posted here but van is almost done now. Upgraded the security and alarm system considerably was high on the list with all these updates.

Insulated inside, interior is going in at Starlight campers in the next few days (will post an image of it going in for sizing.

Then its just the carpet lining and ceiling to sort. Will then need to re-do the zig etc.

Got the interior from Starlight campers, was nervous to see it but I'm really pleased with it. The upholstery matches my new Alfa seats too which is a bonus.

So final stage now, my carpet set has arrived from Newton Commercials, expensive but seems very sturdy and well made. Should look really smart.

Last job then is the headlining, just waiting for the chap to get time to fit me in.

Looking at a Waeco 25 compressor for inside the cupboards, not sure I want to cut the cupboards to fit a CR50 plus I hear the smaller top loaders are more efficient on the energy.

As an update I've opted for no zig, and used a 3 socket leisure hookup with built in RCD, intend to have it coming out of the numberplate flap. Also used a 12v 10 way intelligent fuse box, LED lights up when the fuses go. Lastly a 240v connect and forget battery charger, 10amp for when I am on hookup.

Pondering a second leisure battery under the rnr bed to give me a bit more range.

I can't believe its near enough done. Oh wait no its not I just bought a 1.9td AAZ to recon and fit after the summers over.

Now polished and mopped the poptop, wheel trims added until I can find some good alloys.

Won't know what to do with myself once its finished, maybe travel a bit ;)

So its been a while since I updated this and to be honest Cookie has sat all winter. I did get the headlining done, have the Alfa seats installed and ordered a nice cab carpet set.

The bus is now in having the AAZ dropped in, and whilst its up on the ramp I have noticed that the trailing arms are rather rotten and the shocks are looking a bit corroded too. I also noticed that much of the back needs some of the surface rust got rid of and the underneath re stone chipped.

More jobs to add to the list. It never ends :)

Remaining jobs:

1 1.6 removed and AAZ installed - In progress
2 Trailing arms look corroded, get refurbed and galvanised.
3 Dash pod replacement, the current is rather knackered on the pcb. Pondering a Syncrosport dash replacement to give it a longer life than another t25 pod would give.
4 Shocks and springs lower -30mm
5 De-rust and retreat the underneath
