Wheel change pros/cons 1.9AAZ

Hi all I have had my van 7 years it’s standard height with standard 14”wheels and van Tyres’s its always blown about on motor ways but I just expect it as the normal I was wondering about changing the wheels but know little about it just wondering what the pros and cons are on a standard van will it handle a little better with bigger wheels n tyres any thought ,experience would be great cheers Danny
