Refurbishing fridge, heater & units questions

Post by Mrs8925 »

Hi, hope this is in the right place.

We're in the process of removing Phoebe's interior for welding.

The fridge looks like it's seen better days at the back. Lots of surface rust.

The propex heater is also rather dusty and dirty and I have no idea when it was last used. We couldn't get it to fire up.

Does anyone know anywhere that will refurbish the fridge? I'd like to put it back in as opposed to replace it.

Is it worth sending the propex for refurbishment?

As for the units, the wood effect covering is coming off in places. Has anyone successfully recovered or painted the units? Again, would rather tidy up than replace.

TIA x

Yes I recently had my propex refurbished,
a good service, lovely company, very reasonable.
Call them for a conversation.

Fridge, you may be able to service that yourself,
various info available on the net.
Or get something more modern its a bigger conversation.

Your units, well its your opportunity to make the van suit you,
do whatever you like, what works for you.
