OKA

Postby rollercoaster » 04 Feb 2020, 15:26

Its often an interesting person who comes up and chats about the van,
so I was again pleasantly surprised by a nice gentleman today.
Turns out he likes driving around the world, lives locally to me,
and he drives an OKA...

I plan to go and visit him and check it out,
but had a quick look online and they are rare beasts.
However they were made for easy maintenance, and overland versatility,
so it doesnt make a lot of odds that they have stopped making them.

Anyone else heard of them?
Any others in the UK?

There was one for sale at Overland Adventure a few years ago, probably the same one, bit fugly but interesting, iirc quite a bit of aluminium in it as you'd expect from Australia
