air duct pipe too short

Anyone

I am overhauling the speedometer cluster and noticed the larger of the air duct pipes the 60m diameter plastic one from the heater unit to the side cabin vent isn't long enough to reach from the heater outlet to the side vent so all the heat goes on top of the fuse box and doesn't reach the cabin very well and it appears that at some point either the incorrect length pipe has been substituted or a right angle connector from the back of the vent to join up with the plastic hose from the heater out let is missing.
Is there supposed to be a right angled piece that goes from the Driver (LHS on our LHDrive) back of the cabin/facia air outlet port to join up with the flexible plastic pipe that ends up at the heater out let as itys the only thing I can think of?
At present I have joined two heater pipes together for a temp fix but they are too long and have to be coiled around so not a good fix

any information as I cant see anything in the Bentley manual and has anyone got one of these 90 degree bits??

regards
Kevin

you said right side is a 2 piece affair 251 819 726 and hose 251 819 721

I have the hose but the elbow part is missing part 251 819 726 hence the pipe wont stretch by itself . Do you have one of these elbow parts which you are willing to part with if so can you let me know or know who might have one.

thanks for getting back
