Need a measurement or two from a wbx syncro

Postby silverbullet » 04 May 2019, 17:57

If anyone can help? I would like the following dimensions taken from underneath a petrol syncro (see pics) and preferably from a few vans to allow for variation in engine protection fitting and straightness.
These are actually the early type bars, so if anyone has those fitted it may be to my advantage.
Vertical dimensions from underside of bars to these two bosses on the bottom of the gearbox casing.
Thanks.ImageImage

I have 40mm from the centre hole to level with the bash plate and 68mm from the outside (nearside boss)Image

Well how's that for a first guess with just a bit of timber in the gap!
Thanks John, much appreciated.

PS I'm working out the positions for the skid plate drain/ventilation/access holes, seem to have lost the sketch for the last one...

I think they call it an educated guess! No worries.

I've spent far too many hours under the van and nothing like enough hours driving it!
