For yours though, a trolley jack under the end of the spanner would be my attack

In case it goes pear shape for you, l have a pair of early radius rods and control arms collecting dust.
Yours for a reasonable price if needed :ok
Thanks! Will remember that. Wish I had done it while we had two vehicles, takes the time pressure off somewhat

Thanks Rick, and to all responders. :ok

Heat solved the stuck rod. But burnt out the rubber cover on lower ball joint. Oh well, its on list to replace anyhow. Should be fun.

Quickest and easiest way to strip.
If the chassis holes are worn then the radius rod will be nibbled too.
Cut the rod off, air gun on the remains.

I do have the design here for some plates, when we had the workshop then it was quite a common job welding those up so I had a template where I could just cut a sticker and stick it on some plate and cut around the sticker, always meant to get some lasered out, never got around to it.
I'll see if I can find the design.

Oh, and we found that it's easier to completely fill the 3 parts of the sandwich then drill the hole through afterward, they all align then, 32mm from memory.
Cut the inside skin off, cut the outside skin off. repair the middle skin, replace inner and outer skins, drill through.
