I know i need to buy a Haynes manual, but does anyone know the torque spec for the bolts holding the gearbox to the engine? If they have one.

Cheers.

following:

Can't believe it! When I was looking for one over ten years ago they were rare as rocking horse poo.
Plenty on Google but I guess due diligence is needed to be sure to get the real deal. My search just turned up JK but if you shop around for a better price make sure you get the right one.
Mine is titled Volkswagen Vanagon Official Factory Repair Manual 1980---19991 including Diesel, Syncro and camper and has Bently Stock No VV91. VWoA Part No LPV 800 148 ISBN No 10: 0-8376-0336-6, ISBN No 13: 978-08376-0336-0

PDF - you obviously don't read the Members only section.
I have just promised my hard copy to someone else.
