Re: pre-1984 fusebox wiring
If like me, you do not have a rear window demister. The wires on the extension for fuse 13 are for dimmed illumination instead Fuse 13 - 8 amps IN - Grey / Blue - Dimmed illumination feed from Light Switch pin 58b Out - Grey / Blue - Dimmed illumination to instrument panel bulbs. To be honest there...

Re: pre-1984 fusebox wiring
It's a project we bought in boxes and it was missing the wiring loom. I've made one stock original one out of 2 donors. Removed all the dodgy added wiring. When it's all original and working I'll consider upgrades. In a safe manner. It's my second total car rebuild/ restoratiin. Thank God for the in...

Re: Brake warning light wiring
The brake switches are missing on my master cylinder and the wiring is from another bus. The wiring was also missing on mine. These round plugs have 3 wires, so I guess I'll install 3 pole switches.

Re: pre-1984 fusebox wiring
Hi, Thanks for the reply. We bought our camper as a project with everything in boxes and the bus completely striped. I've never worked on a T3, so it's been an adventure! I found that fuse list, but it's not what I'm looking for. I am looking for a list of the back of the fuse panel. What colour wir...

Brake warning light wiring
My bus came in boxes, so can anyone tell me how this wires up? (1980 westfalia, so old style fusebox).
Where do the 2 round connectors go? And the loose wires? I've got blue/ black, black, grey/green.

Re: Internal gas bottle
Think we'll use the underslung tank, but keep this cannister. I'll seal the bottom so it can be used as storage. Keep it a bit original

Internal gas bottle
We bought a project 1980 Joker in boxes. It came with the underslung tank, but also with this cannister for an internal bottle. I can't seem to find much info on this. Was this a common option? Could you have both? Or is our underslung tank added later?
