I was wondering, useing good quality OAT antifreeze, are people still changing it every two years as per handbook or can you stretch it to three? Thanks

Alternator
I have a 1989 2.1 DJ and am confused about the correct Alternator. Should it be a 65 or a 90 amp? Thanks

Re: No power to light switch
Success!!! Tried the parking light and that worked so had another good look and found a wire adrift from my previous speedo trouble! (out and in many times). Refitted and all works. Many thanks Mocki for your help. So quick to reply! This Forum is a Godsend to newbie owners like me. THANKYOU X

Re: No power to light switch
It is a 1989 vintage. Have tried with a multi meter to find power at the light switch but cannot. all wires to switch are dead. Surely one should be live?

No power to light switch
Hope someone can help. Headlights {dip and main}, Side lights and tail lights have all stopped working. Everything else is fine. Fuses are good and checked the earth. There appears to be power at the fuse but no power at the switch. Any ideas? Thanks

Re: Clacky Engine on starting - Newbie asking
Also got a 2.1DJ that clicks on startup. Engine good otherwise but should we be worried or just "character!"?
