Hi all,after a really rotten 2 years finally got out in my 1.9 automatic type 25, drove from Castletown to South Shields,approx 6 miles, temperature was high, Fished for about 5 hours, no luck, got back in van and drive back, temp really high light flashing, got home and parked up had coffee went b...

Power steering pipes
Hi all, just put my 1989 Caravell 1.9 fuel injected through MOT and decided to have a good clean underneath, got a bit too vigorous with scraper and punctured pipework, now looking to replace, has anyone used hydraulic flexi for this job cheers Mawsy

Hi sorted, the bakerlite washer behind circlip is about 12 mms deep ,and was corroded on to unit, fitted small socket inside piston and secured in vice and knocked cylinder free cheers any damage to piston was outside travel through seals, cheers Mawsy

Hi all, I am replacing the seals on master cylinder on 1989 Caravell, I have followed the Haynes manual, removed the circlip
and secondary piston stop, the piston is still not coming out of the unit, have I missed something cheers Mawsy

Hi all, all the best for 2022 health and happiness, just a stupid question, are the barrels on a 1.9 waterboxer interchangeable with the 2.1 version, I have a 1989 Caravel that had the 2.1 originally, but was changed to 1.9, I was looking to go back without a new engine, cheers Mawsy

Hi all, I have a 1989 Caravelle automatic, it has a 1.9 engine, changed from 2.1 before I got it.will it be possible to change the gearbox for a 7 speed auto without too many alterations cheers Mawsy

Hi again, got 4 connections on the rear of revcounter, E _ F G the blank has no wire connected to it, which of these will be the power supply to the unit, sorry to be such a dummy but rather ask than fry the wiring, cheers Mawsy

Hi all, the revcounter on my 1989 caravelle has never worked I got it it is 1.9 auto fuel injected petrol , I finally got round to checking it, and have got continuity from terminal 1 on the coil, any advice on what to do next cheers Mawsy

Hi all, changed mine for extendable ones on my Caravelle 1.9 petrol auto, took off rocker cover, took off rockers, removed pushrods, when replacing new spring loaded tubes had a bit of bother, oil on fingers gripping,resolved by putting a short piece of wooden brush handle in a drill and turning dow...
