t25 year differences- torpedo and spade fuses??
10 years ago I had a few different T25's, all 1.9dg, 2 C Reg and 1 E reg, the older C reg had spade fuses and the other 2 torpedo fuses. Both vans with the torpedo fuses were more responsive (and more reliable...?). Was there any change or has anyone else noticed a difference? Am now looking for ano...

Engine: 1.9 DG
Fingers crossed you can find someone that can have a look at the carb etc (or get friendly with the spanners). There are some great guys on this forum. Casper will live again!

also, are some easier to repair than others
ie is it better for me to pay out for a newer one, or get an older one so if it breaks theres a chance in a diy fix!

have a friend thats got a 1.6 td jetta engine for his current 1.6 straight diesel camper. What is the best gearbox for him to buy? is it a petrol 4 speed/diesel 5 speed?? is it a relatively easy job?

BMW E36 (1994) ball joint issues
Its not VW, but its close! Having issues, not sure what next move should be. Replace the lower ball joint, after going for a short drive (almost immediately) it popped out of the lower wish bone. It was pressed in properly. Any suggestions as to why this might of happened, and how i'm best to go abo...

This the plastic part that sits at the back right of the engine bay as you look at it (you can only see one small pipe poking through)
It is where the radiator pipes etc run through
Is this part found on petrols and diesels?
