Re: Seat Belts in an Autosleeper VT20 (U shaped seating)
Have a look at these places for some ideas https://seatbeltservice.co.uk/camper-van-seat-belts/ https://www.quickfitsbs.com/gallery_vw.php They look like they can fit seatbelts in most layouts but I'd probably be more worried about the construction of the seats themselves. I just replaced my Autosle...

Re: Rock and roll bed and seatbelts
Are you planning on fixing/gluing the foam to the board and then upholstering over the whole lot? How do the bolt fixings through the metal triangle into the wood work and hold? Hoping to do the same thing myself. Yep, I'll be gluing the foam to the boards and covering the whole thing with the mate...

Re: Rock and roll bed and seatbelts
Hi I have an Autosleeper too; I had 2x 3-point belts fitted in the rear, both coming from the near-side rear pillar. Autosleeper nearly always converted delivery vans so they needed strengthening plates in the pillar. The drivers side belt clips into a buckle in the middle of the seat then goes over...

Torque washers for carriage bolts
Hi does anyone know a source of these in the UK: https://www.wclco.com/lock-washers/torque-washers-for-carriage-bolts/ basically just a square holed washer for carriage bolts but with tangs to grip wood. I can only seem to find US suppliers and I want some for my RnR bed. Maybe they're called someth...

Thanks for the suggestions; I've atached some loops to the back of the seat base and strapped it in place

Fixing Devon box/potty box in place
I've made a box to store the porta potty in to go behind the front passenger seat, simialr to a Devon box but slightly larger. Not sure of the best way to fix it in the van though, thinking of attaching it to the rear of the front seat base/pedestal or to the floor with rails. Floor is chipboard Any...

Re: Make a T25 safe for kids!
How are those headrests attached? I hadn't thought about them as the kids were small but they ain't any more. I bought a couple of these from Campervan Culture for my rear headrests: https://campervanculture.com/shop/vw-t25-t3-vanagon-westfalia-headrest-installation-kit/" onclick="window....

Re: Any body else partial to a sniff?
Growing up in the 80's I have a very clear memory of telling my Mum how much I liked the smell of car exhaust fumes. It's about all I can remember from back then, probably for that very reason.

Re: Gear linkage
Hi Pan-al
is it with only with a particular change or with every one? Mine used to make a noise changing from 1st to 2nd (more of a clunk) which I think was the spring/ball bearing sticking. Once I'd refurbed the linkage the noise stopped.
Cheers

I like that, looks nice and neat. Been thinking of making something similar myself. Also intrigued by your seat covers! Do they slip on over the existing ones without having to go down the whole recovering route?

Found a replacement door lock for RM212 fridge
Well after surviving for 30 odd years, it wasn't my kids who broke the fridge door pin (as I assumed it would be), it was one of Mrs Born Too Late's friends! I found this replacement that fits perfectly: http://www.youcancaravan.co.uk/care-repair-c3/parts-other-c27/dometic-travel-pin-for-travel-lock...
