Re: Coolant expansion tank completely empty.
I don't want to be the bringer of bad news but this sounds similar to the issues I had with my 1.9td aaz. System pressurising over a period of 12mths or more, perhaps stupidly did trips to France, Scotland and other places with the problem. It started with the coolant level staying above the max lin...

Re: holdsworth villa 1 pop top replacement.
We had the same roof on our first van, it's called the Giant Riser. This company used to do replacement bellows for them but unfortunately due to ill health they have stopped trading, can still contact them via email though so might be able to point you in the right direction. http://www.poptop-part...

Re: 1.9DG turning over, won’t start - losing the will to keep her on the road...
I had similar issues with my engine, albeit an aaz. Could possibly be a head gasket or head problem, as it reads like the cooling system is pressurising. If you get it started try and get a compression test or a leak down test (dont know how effective these are on a dg) Hopefully it wont be this but...

Re: Radiator fan not kicking in
Did the fan used to come on after your drive to work? I wouldn't expect the fan to come on after 25miles of mway driving. One of the only times my fan has come on was after being on the ramps with engine running for over an hour during an mot test. The other time was driving from crewe to Plymouth n...

I have a 5 speed dog leg and you have to push down and across for 1st and reverse. 1st to 2nd takes a bit of getting used to but easy enough after a while.
