Re: Sunnivagon

Just to echo the thought of the missus ..... the bodywork looks amazing. As in, "this looks like a new van" amazing. Photos don't do it justice and nothing can do justice to the craftsman skills of MM. With a few finishing touches, we'll have a van to be proud of. A thousand thank yous Mik...

Re: Sunnivagon

It's comparisons like that where you really appreciate how much difference the MM magic can make to a van.

Re: Sunnivagon

Mike, you are to be congratulated. I thought that nothing on Earth could engender as much anticipation as I had in the run-up to Christmas 1981 when I knew I was getting an Empire Strikes Back AT-AT .... I stand corrected as this thread over the last few months has far surpassed the Star Wars-relate...

Re: Sunnivagon

It staggers me to think of how many rough moors cattle grids we've been across in the van. I'm amazed it hasn't just fallen apart.

Re: Sunnivagon

I don't think I'll be able to drive this thing once it's finished - might just park it on the drive and stare at it for the rest of my days.

In between bike rides, of course. :D

Re: Sunnivagon

Great pics as usual Mike; there are even bits that I, as a total engineering novice, can recognise. As ever, we both really appreciate you taking on this job and can't wait to see, drive and head away in the final result. A thousand thank yous!
