I thought that nothing on Earth could engender as much anticipation as I had in the run-up to Christmas 1981 when I knew I was getting an Empire Strikes Back AT-AT .... I stand corrected as this thread over the last few months has far surpassed the Star Wars-relate...

It staggers me to think of how many rough moors cattle grids we've been across in the van. I'm amazed it hasn't just fallen apart.

I don't think I'll be able to drive this thing once it's finished - might just park it on the drive and stare at it for the rest of my days.

In between bike rides, of course.
