I have a 1.6 D and it runs fine on temp however when I stick the heater on it does drop on the gauge a bit and after 10 min creeps back up a bit. Have a run over to Magnums in Grimsby, they have loads of combies and cash prices are good. Yea know Grimsby is a bit of a dump but they have a fishing museum place and for a couple of quid its well worth it.

Any one in the york/beverley area with a propex fitted and running? Mines noisey and I cant decide if its normal volume or having a problem with itself so wouldnt mind listeneing to another one. to compare.

I have a 1600 and it puts loads of heat out, have ducted it with closeable nozzles and I do sometimes run it on the move with no probs,

welded a bar to a 17mm bolt with a bend in it to get the right angle. cost ,zero.

The cable fastens to a nipple on a flap on each exchanger, have a look underneath and the cables may have been disconnected and the flaps wired closed. either way fix them in the position opposite to what you find.

Fitting new ones is easy enough and theyre not dear.

GAS ? Is it new to you, did it work? If your sure you have gas on then when you set the stat and call for heat have a look at the box with the two light on, one lights when the voltage is too low, fan will keep running but it closes the gas solenoid. so stick a battery charger on and try again. Mike
