got the sb engine yesterday but it has a garret t3 turbo cant see any water cooling going to it ,does my standard jx downpipe fit this ,got a k03 from the aaz ,just want it all standard vw so easier to fix , been looking for jx turbo and manifolds but cant find any .

Hi, I used it in mine and it works fine, I've heard it doesn't really need the water connected and VW discontinued it not long after. But as its a part of the engine I plumbed it in and it runs fine. just about to fit a sb into a previous aaz conversion but the aaz had used the aaz manifolds and turbo so going to be using as much sb stuff as possible , did you keep the water cooled turbo

There's a couple of detail ways.. but at the back near the hinge line you take it through behind the seal so any ingress flows off the inner tintop section back and out.. Does anyone sell an aaz jx conversion hybrid flywheel ready to bolt on 228mm clutch fitment and what clutch fits
Maybe needed in the future for a planned aaz conversion but then again reading others is it really worth it for so little power gains over a jx
