You're right that the oil is not red! It's kind of black silvery with some silver bits in it.....

Re: Gearbox help very much appreciated
I'm hoping this will work. I have had someone have a look and am very confident that the gearbox is dead. It been popping out of second gear from time to time for almost as long as I've had it and the oil has the wonderful aroma of cats pi$$: http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj174/pwag20/Crusty%20...

Gearbox help very much appreciated
I've been reliably informed since my gearbox spat rather a mammoth about of oil all over the drive that I need a new/old/replacement/refurbished one. As this unfortunate incident occurred days after I decided to sell I want to do this the cheapest way possible as the plan still is to sell once repai...

Keep cutting out (when engine actually starts)
Hoping for some clues as I have none. MOT booked in for tomorrow and looks unlikely I will be able to get there. Engine has cut out a couple of times today whilst merrily travelling at speed and then struggled to get started again. Can't start now although it's turning over (thankfully I'm on the dr...

Time to upgrade the interior ...?
I'm after some recommendations as the conversion of my interior was done in 1991 and whilst it still looks kind of ok the cupboard doors aren't staying shut (despite continual attention), the beds a bit of a chore to put down and it's definitely way past it's best. I'm in Folkestone, Kent and would ...

Re: Fully retractable rear seatbelts
You Sir (I assume you're a Sir :P ) are a star. Looks like they're based in Stevenage, which isn't a million miles from me, but the website listing i found for them is dead ... hopefully the rest of the company is still going! Will give them a ring tomorrow and find out. Many thanks for the info. Y...

Re: Fully retractable rear seatbelts
Pwag20, can I ask a really large favour? Could you have a look and see if there's a manufactures name on the "middle" seat belt? I too am trying to source one of these type of 3 point belts but have not had much success yet! No problem, you're in luck. There is a label which shows the com...

Re: Fully retractable rear seatbelts
Seatbelt service came to me. I'm on the South coast in Kent. Think they charged around £40 call out charge on top of the charge for fitting two 3 point belts. One of which is what you are after by the sounds of it: http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj174/pwag20/Crusty%20my%20lovely%20VW%20T25/ce44f...

Re: photos of interior gallery
really nice pwag, trying to find seat covers/rock and roll bed covers for mine where did you get yours from? Thanks. After 18 months of ownership it's really feeling like mine now. The bed upholstery is the latest, recent addition and I'm really pleased with it. It's made a huge difference and is n...

Excellent idea for a thread! I've often tried to look for ideas too without much success. This is mine currently:

Making me think I really need to clean my van up inside!
Thanks. I like to keep a nice clean and tidy van (all mine) and house (unfortunately shared with the bf and kids so not quite so easy to keep clean and tidy)

Re: New upholstery
If you don't mind my asking. How much was it, I'd like something similar in tan? If you have a look at their website: http://www.comfortzleisure.co.uk/rock-roll/4582074782" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The prices are shown there and are very reasonable in comparison to ma...
