I've already had the lower front re-sprayed - 'base and clear' - but it seems to be chipping easily.. A small stone today (nothing of any note) and a 4mm chuck has come off? Normal - or poor adhesion to primer?

Best paint for respray?
Hi! The old bus (1985) has been re-worked in the metal shop and is now ready for a full re-spray. When seeking quotes I am getting different answers as to what is best. Obviously much of the van is going back to metal and starting from a primer. Do I push towards 2K paints or base and clear coat? ...

I have the inner sill part; but it is the internal floor section I need too. Thanks for any suggestions. Out of stock of Schofields and Brickw...

Clunking - on big Exmoor hills
I've been reading lots of posts on here about driveshafts - or more specifically the CV joints. Does this sound like a CV issue? I've been hearing the odd single clunk when starting to reverse, or 1st gear forward - especially alternating between the two. Then in Exmoor on a 30% hill, when it got ...

Halls sender - fitting and timing
As per other post - I am watching closely a starting when hot / stalling issue on my bus. (T25 1985 DG 1.9). I'm only changing one thing at a time, and we're all good right now. If I need to change the Halls Sender in the future - I found and read the guides on here etc as part of the whole distri...

New distributor cap and arm - stalling when hot
Just wanted to post after my breakdown two weeks ago. A few stalls over a couple of days after starting (immediately) and then a cut out within 1/2 mile of starting hot as I drove up an incline high street - tricky roll back parallel park.... Read lots on here, and used it as a chance to buy my gro...

Can anyone describe what a worm out cap and rotor arm looks like? Or is it hard to tell good from old/worn?

I had some good advice and questions on the other post that is now deleted. Can you re post?
Vacuum diaphram where please? Meanwhile I will search the post history for Coil-testing, I'm sure it is well covered.

DG 1.9 Engine Distributor buying- where? (Rephrase) - (ignore Bosch 009 topic)
Re-phrase. Where can I gat an original DG engine dizzy, or the best alternative? Have tried Brickwerks, Heritage. JK has a 'unknown' manufacturer - is that the best available now? (I have trouble starting, and has died when driving. Starting with replacement distributor as other elements seems fi...

Sliding door - maintenance?
I've seen a few posts on FB recently about sliding door coming free, bearing and roller failures. I have mine removed right now for painting following restoration works. Whilst I have the middle assembly in my hand should I replace the rollers as a matter of routine? They look fine and roll well,...

Re: RM122 - 3 ways fridge woes
Thank you.. tried both the long upside down and rotated a few times. It’s blooming working again.
Also, the tech notes on the refrigeration much appreciated.

Re: RM122 - 3 ways fridge woes
Can I ask, why 24 hours upside down (rather than less), what is it that is happening?
Many thanks,
