Well I thought I'd get in touch with someone at Midland Wheels and this is their reply:

Dear Sir

Having sold these wheels for many years, I can confirm that these wheels are the correct offset for your VW T25, they will not cause problems with the tyre wear or wheel bearing on your vehicle nor will it stick out from the arches.

Our tyre recommendation would be a 185/65/15 with this wheel.

I'm thinking I might see how I get on, but have decided to get myself some commercial van tyres.

I would take what midland wheel say with a pinch of salt. They sell them they wont say theyre no good. It would be like spear and jackson saying our spades are ok to look at but dont use them as the handles break. :rofl I have spoke to them a number of times at shows etc. They sell cheap wheels that fit and know nothing about t25's. Well they didnt when I spoke to them in feb. I certainly wouldnt go below et 20 :ok.

Now I see you cant resist :rofl almost as if they came off the van. The red the white. There must be hundreds of vans that have empi's on anyway. Van tyres is a good choice :ok you need longer studs on the rear too about 10mm longer iirc.

True they have sold that style of wheel for many years but they are the wrong offset for a T25...FACT!
VW spent millions on designing the VW Transporter and fitted it with 5.5X14 steel wheels with 185R14C tyres and an ET of 39.They also fitted 6X14 alloys with 205/70/14 tyres and an ET of 30.

Ask Midland Wheels how much they spent designing the alloys they say are the correct offset for a T25....they didn't!

Oh and the tyres they recommend are 36mm smaller than standard and will be car tyres  so not load rated for a commercial vehicle!

As for the quality(????)of the wheels they sell...just Google Midland Wheels!
There's no 'r' in bought!

We have them on our van

They have been on for nearly 2 years now, without any problems at all.
I took them to a local alloy wheel specialist, and he refurbed them from white to the grey they are now, he also put commercial van tyres on them and balanced them.
Yes we know the risks, they are also declared with our insurance company.
The previous owner of the wheels had them on his van for 5 years without any issues what so ever.
I love the look of your wheels and say go for it :ok
