Bosch Pump leaking

1986 Leisuredrive fitted with a 1Y Diesel , year not known.
I noticed drips of diesel on the drive and traced it to the Bosch injector pump. I can’t see any other numbers on it, so not sure what sort of seal kit I need. I take it some sort of seal has gone. How hard is it to remove and fix? I take it the timing needs to be set at tic, belts off and remove. I’m not bad with a set of spanner’s. Any ideas guys?
Based in North Cornwall.

If it's the seal round the throttle spindle, I seem to remember others saying it can be done in situ, saving a load of work. I've never done this myself though.
You do have to be careful to keep the exact position on the splines, or you will lose the settings.

Perhaps someone who's done it will be along soon with better information.

If it is the cold start spindle that can be done in situ also, very fiddly but can be done - as I managed it with my arthritic hands.
I haven't done the throttle one though. Someone has posted on how to do that in the past. Should be able to find it with a search.

I had the same problem fuel leaking from the throttle spindle on the pump only when running as under pressure then.
I sent mine for a rebuild cost was 350 plus postage give him a call or email he’ll sort it for you Image
