Camshaft bearings

Post by Robert 2986 »

I have removed camshaft and crank to carry out a full rebuild, at the moment I am struggling to find cam and crank bearings off the original part numbers, does anyone know what numbers supersede the vw ones , here are the factory numbers,
Camshaft bearings
021 101 522
025 511
025 501
Crank bearings
025505D
025 105 533C
025563B
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Regards Robert

If std. crank (I don't have time to do the googling) https://brickwerks.co.uk/product/main-b ... std-07-85/

Dual thrust (late) cam bearings are 025 198 541

Always use dual thrust cam bearings, you may have to file the tab notch into one half of the case, takes 10 mins
