Replacement Leisure Battery

Post by keynsham1 »

I need a new leisure battery fro my van. It is a 1.9DG and the leisure battery sits under the passenger seat. It is 175mm wide, 175mm tall and approximately 310mm long. It cannot be any bigger as it wouldn't fit.

I am struggling to find anyone who can supply one, and even struggling to find one on the internet.

Does anyone know a make, model number, or supplier?

I seem to remember that the supplier of choice was Alpha?

...and...

That there isn't a proper 'leisure' battery that has the low height required to get under the seat

...but...

The one they sold me is holding up quite well after a few years whatever it may be

Alpha do not do a actual leisure battery that size , just a rebadged starter battery
Leisure batteries do not have a CCA (cold cranking Amps) rating

Search for LP75 on ebay

I gave up looking for a leisure battery for my camper to fit in that space. I just buy a regular battery. Never had a problem.
