Idle controller box (Ahead of D/S rear light cluster)

Post by Mr Bean »

I have locate one to buy but the relevent number is on the one I have is 251 907 393C whereas the one for sale has a D in place of the C.
I am lead to believe that there are two models which are not interchangeable and wonder if it is the letter at the end which differentiates them?

From what I understand, the D suffix is often just a supersession of the C suffix.
If you see a DX suffix, then it is a reconditioned D type module.

I watched a VanAgain video on you tube the other evening, and he advised that the idle stabilisation units are inter-changable.

You may be getting confused between the E and F suffix Digijet ECUs.
From memory, E is for autos and F is for manuals.

This man suggests interchangeable, but he does mention B and D revisions.

From what I understand, D suffix will suit the 2.1 DJ.
(Digijet).
I cannot confirm for the digifant variants.

Suffix A or C = DigiJet ie DJ
Suffix B and D are Digifant, ie MV, SR

I consider myself corrected.

More filtering of what I see and read online required...
