Hi, do I need to put sealer on cylinder head sealant rings. They are new but Hylomar has been suggested. Is it worth doing? If so where can I get or is there an equivalent? I have this.....

most people don't bother and say it's not needed , I can't find the AF for sale either at the moment

here is the post where Tencentlife reccomended it, he is regarded as perhaps the best WBX builder in USA or at least one of the best

I used it in my DJ rebuilds

no they are silicone, but I'd use a smear of vaseline or grease to help them seal, are you reusing old tubes or using telescopic?

Reusing old but if they fail will replace with telescopic when needed
