Andrew should us LPG on carb users bypass the water heating through the inlet manifold?
No, because your auto choke won't come fully off if not water heated. And it'd run rubbish on petrol.

Not suggesting bypassing the auto choke, just the manifold? Hardly use petrol.
I suppose you could get a 12V solenoid to do it wired to LPG but is it worth it, would you notice any difference?

I'm actually thinking in reverse

I would quite like to convert my Carb'd DG to Injection
(Can it be done ???)

What about different fuel tank spec? Injection needs bigger outlet feed pipe and different swirl pot...or does it?

Did anyone bother when converting to carb from injection?

Yes, I believe you would. Ideally you'd use an electric diverter valve with an extra branch line parallel to the fanimold and rejoining before the choke, so flow was through this hose on gas, and back through fanimold on petrol. And if you were Chris you'd then rolling road it on all four permutations to map the respective power curves! (And possibly then find the optimum additional ignition advance available at sea level due to lower charge temperature...? ;-) )

For the record. I will be staying with my injection setup :-)
