Ok numpty question!
This is my engine cover as you can see some of the insulation as come out of the thin plastic but I have tucked it in more now.
Question is do I
Take it off completely?
Replace it?
Leave as it is as it's fine!
Cheers

Re: Engine cover insulation
Make sure its secure, it wouldn't be good to have the loose insulation falling on the engine. The later engine lids are plastic with foam bonded to the underside, not as heavy.

Re: Engine cover insulation
Looks in the same nick as mine I cut up a couple of metal coathangers to add more support where the insulation was starting to sag and it's been ok so far - will replace with some proper insulation when I get round to it... http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=142356
