anyone tell me where the engine no. is on my AAZ engine? i found it years ago but cant remember !

It is stamped into a machined flat near the top edge of the block, approximately below injector 3. Helpfully right behind the bypass hose. You'll probably have to use abrasive to clean up the flat, then rub it with a wet finger to show up the characters.

thanks its got a bit grimy over the years will try wire brush/wire wool and some gunk
